JUNE 2023
SUMMER LEADERSHIP CAMP
Throughout a one-week in-person summer leadership camp, students learned the 8 Principles of Effective Leadership and concepts through slideshows and interactive activities. Students learned the difference between a proactive and reactive response, how to give their peers positive feedback, and the importance of synergy. They also brainstormed and presented their ideas through creative skits and whiteboard presentations. The program concluded with a final project on how students would welcome a new student to their town, which simultaneously exercised their brand-new leadership skills.
